Part Reps for each section are listed on the ‘Rehearsals’ page of the Choir Members website, along with their contact details. If you are going to miss a Monday rehearsal, please let your Part Rep know. If you are absent for 3 consecutive weeks without informing your Part Rep, the Rep will contact you directly. Some of the sections (Tenors and Basses) now have their own WhatsApp groups which are proving an effective way of keeping in contact with each other. It might be useful if Sop1, Sop2, Alto1 and Alto2 also had their own WhatsApp groups; each group would need one person in their section willing to be the admin (not necessarily the Part Rep) – if anyone is interested in setting this up please let your Part Rep know.

Next season's programme includes a concert on 29th February 2020. It is very rare to have the opportunity to give a concert on 29th February; that date only falls on a Saturday every 28 years! We would like to mark this event in some way, and invite members to suggest items which it would be particularly appropriate to perform on that date. If you have any ideas, please let Jonathan or a member of the Committee know.

In a burst of bureaucratic zeal, the Committee has recently approved and adopted two new policies, a Data Protection Policy and a Code of Conduct: The new DATA PROTECTION POLICY was drawn up in order to ensure we comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) that came into force in 2018. The policy will be published shortly on the Choir website.

This exercise has led us to the realisation that the information we hold on some of you may now be out-of-date. When we return for the start of the new season in September, we will be asking each Choir member to fill in and return a new membership information form so that we can be sure the details we hold for you are current.

It was suggested at last year's AGM that it would be helpful if the Choir had a formal CODE OF CONDUCT. We have given effect to this suggestion, and the Code is now on the Members' Area of the Choir website.

Quiz night £195 was raised for Choir funds at our Quiz Night on 30th March. Thanks are due to the organising team for all their hard work, and to everyone who took part on the night.
Plant sale The proceeds of the sale on Monday 13th May totalled £115, about double the amount raised last year. Many thanks to all who donated plants and to everyone who purchased.
Book sale We will be holding a Book Sale on Monday 3rd June at the Cornerstone.

The next Newsletter will be issued in the Autumn Term. Please send notices you wish to be included to the Choir Secretary at
